Lavender AURA Festival
In honor of the new harvest, the Lavender Festival takes place every year.
In 2024, three days of performances, on July 12, 13 and 14,
we celebrate with music, street food, refreshments, coffee, ice cream and…
lavender scent.

A miracle of nature
In July we start harvesting in a truly magical place. Bathed by the warm sun, each ray of light tenderly caresses our flowers. With great care, we harvest millions of purple flowers, which will then be still distilled to extract their essence, which will become a fundamental ingredient of the world’s finest perfumes. This process is the result of a year of dedication and care, the result of more than 10 years of accumulated experience and knowledge. With over 6 hectares of organic plantation, Aura Essential has become one of the most important lavender producers in Romania, a living testimony of our passion and commitment to agricultural excellence.
We respect and love the land, the fields and each of the flowers, which give us their essence year after year. This is why we respect the environment as much as possible by using biodegradable materials throughout the Festival. We also avoid any action that could alter or minimally alter the landscape.

During the 3 days of the festival, we open our doors at 10:00, so you have enough time to enjoy the scenery, smell the flowers, have a quiet conversation with friends or enjoy a cold drink while contemplating this miracle.

You can come with your family
Benefiting from a concert for all means that anyone, regardless of age, will be able to attend the festival. Children under 14 can enter without a ticket, provided they are accompanied by their father, mother or legal guardian.
Our plants are very delicate. Please do not pick the flowers. Picking too many flowers too soon can cause the bush to dry out and therefore die. It is important for you to know that a lavender flower bush has a lifespan of 10 to 12 years and begins to give essence only from the third year.

Our healthcare team will always be close to you. If you need, look for the red cross symbol or contact our staff. At the Lavender Festival, you are in good hands!
How to get there
Our festival is celebrated outdoors, in the middle of lavender fields in Movileni, Iași – near the Moldavian Delta. It can be reached by car on the DJ282 road (Iași – Botoșani) which will leave at the entrance to Mălăști towards the Moldavian Delta. The entire road is paved. Don’t worry about parking, there will be enough places. Security and order will be ensured by the support of the Romanian Gendarmerie.
